THE 2016 MILLE MIGLIA WAS PRESENTED DURING THE PRESS CONFERENCE

The thirty-fourth revival of the Mille Miglia, the most famous road race of all time, will be held from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 May 2016. The event, as is tradition, is scheduled a week before the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco.
For the fourth year running, this celebration of vintage cars will be organised by 1000 Miglia Srl, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Automobile Club of Brescia which founded the company for this purpose in 2012. Over the past three years, 1000 Miglia Srl’s management of the event has set new standards, reaching great heights in both sporting and financial terms.
THE ROUTE
Remaining faithful to a tradition that dates back to 1927, the race will start and finish in Brescia, crossing half of Italy before and after it touches on Rome.

La trentaquattresima rievocazione della Mille Miglia, la corsa su strada più celebre di ogni tempo, sarà disputata da Giovedì 19 a Domenica 22 maggio 2016.
La data, come da tradizione, anticipa di una settimana il Gran Premio di Monaco di Formula Uno.
Per il quarto anno consecutivo, a curare la grande kermesse automobilistica sarà naturalmente 1000 Miglia Srl, società totalmente partecipata dall’Automobile Club di Brescia e da esso appositamente creata nel 2012. La gestione della corsa da parte dii 1000 Miglia Srl delle ultime tre edizioni ha stabilito un nuovo standard, sia in termini sportivi sia dal punto di vista del risultato economico.
IL PERCORSO
Rispettando la tradizione nata nel 1927, il percorso prenderà il via e terminerà a Brescia, attraversando mezza Italia prima e dopo il giro di boa a Roma.
